Supporting Elements

    Elements

Supporting brand elements bring variety and balance to your company’s brand identity. Using these elements in an intentional way will strengthen the visual aspects of your brand and instill trust among your clients through consistent use.

    Shape Gradients

Gradient shapes are optional, but can help create depth and visual interest in graphic layouts.
The circle gradient should only be used with the circle image mask and overlap on top of the image. The super-round rectangle gradient can be used under-neath the super-round rectangle image, or inset and on top of a normal rounded rectangle image.

Right-click on each shape to save to your computer.

    Image / block shapes

If more content is desired, the Super-Round rectangles can be used as color blocks to place content within. Approved colors for this are Midnight, Azure, Jade, and Mint.

Right-click on each shape to save to your computer.

    Patterns

There are multiple patterns for PCI that can be added to print or digital designs for additional dynamism. Patterns can change transparency depending on if text overlay is applied. The patterns derive from different visualizations of energy and the flow of energy. For example, pattern three represents entropy and the disordered nature of energy and pattern six is a variation of wavelines inspired by wave power.

There are a few rules to consider when using these patterns:

    • Waves can be cropped, rotated, or bleed off artboard to better fit the layout
    • Do not use waves if it causes the layout to become overly cluttered
    • The grid can be used to create flexible layouts using text and images as seen on the following pages.
    • The grid can also be used as a visual element as long as it doesn’t interfere with text.
